THE SOUND OF F1 ENGINES REPLACED BY THE WHO’S ROARING GUITARS IN MELBOURNE
The Article in the Melbourne Herald Sun uses words like ‘dieing’ and ‘eventuated’ but the old country had a good day in Melbourne, with Messrs Button, Townshend and Daltrey creating triumph after triumph.
The setlist, slightly shorter than those played at other gigs on the current tour, was still a joy for all who’d waited years for the unique sound of one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
I cant explain
Anyway, anyhow, anywhere
Who are you
Behind blue eyes
Love reign o’er me
You better you bet
Won’t get fooled again
The Kids are alright
See me/Feel me
Listening to you
Tea & theatre
Diehard fans who’ve followed the band through this tour say that the performance of AMAZING JOURNEY/SPARKS was incendiary, out of this world!
