So you think ’21 is gonna be a good year

Wishing everyone a very happy new year. We hope it turns out to be one of restoration and of healing.

Thanks for all your support over the past year. It’s been hard being off the road but we look forward to a time when live music can be heard again in theatres, stadiums and concert halls around the world.

In the meantime, we are delighted to give you, as a special new year treat, The Who band’s Loren Gold performing his own arrangement of ‘1921’ from The Who’s Tommy.

Stay safe everyone, take care and look after one another.

      Yes, we do! Thanks Sara.

  3. Luis Corró says:

Amazing arrangement that gives the song, a new touch and meaning. Its is simply extraordinary how he did re generate the song. Hope he does more onf this with other WHO songs.

  12. Roger Penny says:

Like everyone else I was looking forward to the 2020 now 2021 tour and to the concert in Glasgow but it’s only 8 weeks away, we’ve just gone into lockdown in Scotland and no events are allowed to take place. And there’s no chance of the vaccine getting rolled out that quickly except for fans in care homes! Please can you let us know what’s happening?

  13. Ian says:

Wanting to fly in for the Mar 22 concert but having my doubts it will go ahead. Any latest news please? Need to book flights.

  14. Marilyn White says:

Please can you help re UK tours? Our lockdown is until March 31 2021 – so what is happening about your 2021 tour dates please?

  15. I have no reason to be over optimistic but sometimes when you smile I can brave bad weather-Pete

  17. Sandra Wyper says:

Please update fans if your rescheduled dates are going ahead, highly unlikely but fans have travel and hotel plans.

  18. Warren Gilbank says:

Similar comments to the above, I have tickets for the rescheduled Glasgow gig. I live in Spain and would need to try and book a flight, COVID test etc. I presume that the tour will need be postponed. However, I feel a decision needs to be made from the band so everyone is aware. Stay safe everyone and it’s totally understandable that the tour may be disrupted. We just need to know.
Best wishes Warren, Los Boliches Spain

  19. Nigel says:

Any news on the March 2021 date at Wembley, with national lockdown in full swing, leaves me concerned because I was taking my dad who is in his seventies. Rescheduling seems the right thing to do considering the circumstances.

  20. Stephen says:

Also wondering about the Glasgow concert. Have to fly in from US and need to know what concert status is.

  21. Chriss says:

It sure as hell cant be worse . Thanks for the music guys. Youve helped me fight Cancer 3x and PTSD.
’21 has to be a good year. Im tired of fighting.
    HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.

  22. John Fisher says:

Can we please have a decision re March tour dates ( looking highly unlikely) and rescheduled dates please.

  23. George says:

We have tickets for Liverpool and will be traveling by train so need to book the tickets and a hotel.
Surely you must know that the tour will need to be rescheduled or cancelled by now.
Why have you not issued an update as it’s now obvious that it won’t be happening.
Just like all of the relevant comments above we need to know please.

  24. Randall Aldriedge says:

ARE YOU GUYS COMING BACK TO DALLAS ?????

  25. Ron Miller says:

What a wonderful performance. Well done Loren. Can’t wait to see you guys on the road again.

  26. j lachlan says:

Why the silence re the 2021 re-scheduled dates???? (several post about this already in this thread)
There is ZERO chance these gigs can take place as tickets were sold based one pre-Covid19 basis meaning no need for distancing.
Evidnetly mainland UK is in highest level / tier of restrictions and very unlkiley to change in next four weeks (i.e. by March 2021); further, any easing will inevitably be gradual meaning it will be impossible for venues to accommodate audience numbers based on pre-Covid19 capacities in March / April 2021!!
You owe the paying public (the fans) some answers as we forked out big money (over one year ago) for tickets: so when are we going to see the band or not – not in March 2021 for sre!!

  27. Jordan says:

I have tickets for the hydro on the 10th of march and want to know if it will be rescheduled.

  28. Paul says:

I have tickets for both RAH and Wembley in March but due to the lockdown I assume tat these gigs will not take place on the scheduled dates.

Does anyone know if they have been cancelled or re scheduled for later in the year.

  29. Debbie Benton says:

All these questions, not one answer, bit out of order! We also have rescheduled tickets for March, we all know its not going to go ahead, but some info would be appreciated.

  30. CAROLE PARISH says:

We have tickets for Manchester in March, but are becoming over concerned, as are many fans, as there still is no news on any rescheduling of the concerts. Please cld we have some update now!

  31. Sinéad says:

With less than 4 weeks to the Dublin concert, there is still no update from The Who regarding a rescheduled date/cancellation. This is *really* insulting to your fans. Even if there are discussions ongoing about what action to take – you could at least let people know this! At least we wouldn’t be completely left in the dark.

  32. Katrina says:

I’ll add to the plethora of comments regarding your UK tour… when are you going to announce a postponement or cancellation? As you will know the UK have no large events taking place and you have had fans money now for nearly two years. Please advice us all what is happening and allow refunds asap. Thank you.
