The Who Live at the Oval 1971

The Who Live at the Oval 1971 was recorded at the Oval Cricket Ground, Kennington, London on 18 September 1971 and recorded by Glyn Johns on the Pye Mobile Recording Unit. The tapes were restored and mixed by Bob Pridden and Richard Whittaker at The Bridge Studio, London in October / November 2024 and mastered by Jon and Layla Astley at Close to the Edge.  The album  was released by UMe on 22 August 2025. Available as a 2-LP set on black vinyl (602478146985), as a 2-LP set (2478 14698) on coloured vinyl, and as a 1-CD version (2478 14702).

Both 2-LP vinyl sets are packaged in a gatefold sleeve and include a 300mm x 300mm 16-page booklet with photographs, memorabilia and sleeve notes.
