Not exactly true, as the version of MY WIFE used on the soundtrack album comes from an earlier recording made at Kilburn State Theatre, London in December 1977. So the version you get on this single is a nice rarity. The US version of this single omits I’M THE FACE.

In the US a promo 7″picture disc of LONG LIVE ROCK was released featuring Art Kane’s ‘sleeping Who under the flag’ photo and ads on the reverse side for various record store chains.
