Carla Olson: Women Sing The Who

Singer-songwriter Carla Olson has recorded her own hard rocking version of The Who’s 1967 classic ‘I Can See For Miles’ to give her support to Teen Cancer America, the charity set up by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend in 2012. When Carla first heard of the charity, her immediate thought was ‘how can we help?’ and she came up with the idea of Women Who Sing The Who, an idea given full support by The Who and TCA’s management team.

Carla’s version of ‘I Can See For Miles’, a new and exclusive recording to support Teen Cancer America is released today. It can be heard, streamed and purchased on Spotify, Amazon, iTunes and Bandcamp.

Would love to hear versions of Who songs with a little re-write for women, such as “Substitute” or “Pictures of Lily” from a woman’s perspective.
