‘THE WHO’S SUPER BOWL SHOW WILL GIVE PEOPLE THE CHANCE TO GO FOR A SLASH’, SAYS DALTREY

The Who’s Roger Daltrey has told NME.COM about his feelings ahead of the band’s half-time show at this Sunday’s (February 7) Super Bowl.

Bandmate Pete Townshend has previously revealed that the band will perform a medley of Who classics during the 12-minute interval, but Daltrey revealed that he’s concerned whether they’ll have much of an audience to actually play to.

“It’s a strange one,” Daltrey said. “It’s an honour to do it, but it’s only 12 minutes. It’s kind of weird! I suppose it gives people time to take a slash and that’s about it. That’s what you do at half-time isn’t it?! You plan your toilet break!”

“It’ll be an experience, and it is an amazing game,” the singer added. To read the full article, go to WWW.NME.COM.
