Roger Daltrey to join Rock Legends Cruise VII in 2019

On the heels of disembarking from their sixth sold-out voyage, Rock Legends Cruise (RLC) today announced that rock icon Roger Daltrey will join Rock Legends Cruise VII, February 14-18, 2019. Buddy Guy, Dave Davies and Kansas have also been confirmed to perform aboard the largest rock festival at sea.

As a founding member of The Who and a solo artist, Roger Daltrey has voiced some of rock & roll’s most enduring anthems including, ‘Who Are You’, ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’, ‘I Can See for Miles’, ‘Pinball Wizard’, ‘Love, Reign O’er Me’, and ‘After the Fire’. He is one of the most influential and awarded rock artists of the 20th century with honours including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).
 
Legendary blues singer/guitarist, Buddy Guy, is a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and has influenced generations of guitarists including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards and John Mayer, he’s been awarded six Grammys, 28 Blues Music Awards, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Kennedy Center Honors, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts in 2012 for distinguished artistic achievement.
 
Dave Davies, as lead guitarist of The Kinks, Davies was a key part of the 1960s British Invasion, with hits including ‘You Really Got Me’, ‘All Day and All of the Night’, ‘Sunny Afternoon’, and more. Davies has also had solo hits including ‘Death of a Clown,’ ‘Susannah’s Still Alive,’ and ‘Lincoln County’ and with The Kinks was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the UK Music Hall of Fame.
 
Kansas fused the complexity of British prog rock with an American heartland sound and became one of the most popular bands of 1970s and 80s with hits including ‘Carry On Wayward Son’ and ‘Dust in the Wind.’ The band has produced eight gold albums, three multi-platinum albums, one platinum live album and a million-selling single, ‘Dust in the Wind’.
