  The Who returned to New York for an unprecedented six–day stand at the Fillmore East. They became the first group to sell out the Fillmore 30 days in advance as well as the first to play to capacity midweek. Taking the stage at 8 pm, the group gave one performance each night, Monday through Thursday, and two shows each night at 8 and 11:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. ; Monday
