Second time I saw them at The Electric Factory. This, the second show on a Sunday night. Tommy has become a great success and they’ve played Woodstock. The smallish hall is “standing room only” and many ticket buyers have been turned away at the door. The band appeared to be physically tired and without most of the usual aggresive stage show, they play at their musical best! Pete announces they are recording this show. With a standing ovation at the completion of Tommy, Pete takes a swig from a bottle as to congratulate himself and the band for having “Finally” conquered America. They deserve their success.
