My son Thomas and I had a GREAT time and even got a guitar pick from Pete Townsend. Sadly the pick fell out of my wallet and I am trying to replace it!! I hope Pete gets my letters!! Thomas is now a life long Who fan… at the age of 7!
This is my 4th Who Concert and this time, I got to take my son, Brantley, who is 13. Incredible show!!! Glad my son and I got to see the Greatest Rock Band of all time!!!!!
Having grown up in England and a life long WHO/Townsend fan, this was a memory for a lifetime. The tickets were a gift from my wife who has advanced cancer, so this show will always mean so much words can never explain. As Pete said “I cant explain” I know what those words mean. I just wish somehow I could tell or talk to Pete and tell him how much his and the WHO’s music can reach someone. This was not a rock show but a rock opera, words and music with deep feeling. I only wish I could see the opera again. This is a must see for any WHO fan.
Simply outstanding. The sounds and pictures brought the album to life. Moonie singing on Bellboy was the highlight of the night. I was not alone with a tear in my eye during that song. You could feel a buzz and excitement in the the audience the whole show, and the classics were, well, classic. I think I’ve played Quadrophenia thirty times since the show and still get goose bumps. Long Live Rock!!
