As I recall, this was a “make-up” swing through the NW, as the show from the previous year was marred by Roger being sick as a dog….Jerry Garcia was seen dancing backstage, and the story goes that Pete advised Jerry that “we are really going to tear it up in Portland, cuz we owe them.” True or not, it was an amazing show, Moon was ON FIRE!!
