  Pete did not appear with The Who at this gig and Roger approached Mike Dickinson of The Doodlebugs, one of two supporting groups on the night, to sit in and quickly ran through a selection of songs with John. It was agreed to stick with rock standards. ‘Boris The Spider’ was performed twice during the set and even possibly ‘The Ox’ from The Who’s first album.
