The Who open their ill-fated tour of Australia and New Zealand, after which they vowed never to return, though they finally visited Australia again in 2004. ; Saturday
Doug Parkinson In Focus (a brilliant version of Dear Prudence) followed by Paul & Barry Ryan (one hit wonder Eloise) followed by The Small Faces followed by THE WHO. I still remember it as a great show, probably my first real rock and roll show.
Also saw The Who when they next toured a few years ago.
