I was there with a girlfriend, we were only 14 years old. I remember the Vanilla Fudge and another local band opening for The Who.
Great show but we were surprised the place wasn’t packed. We were able to stand in front of the stage. I think it was the end of their U.S. tour. It was mayhem with broken instruments flying everywhere at the end. Great fun! But sadly the Who’s gear was missing from a room in the back and I think it was Entwistle who was quite pissed off. Sad end to a great concert.

I was there also. I was 15. The opening band was The Illusion. Illusion were from Long Island. So were some members of The Vanilla Fudge. It was mostly friends and family from the 2 local bands in the audience. After they played, the place emptied out for The Who. We walked right up to the stage
