Can I buy your Magic Bus? Well, yes, you can. The iconic 1965 split-screen VW Camper Van that was restored and customised in special Who livery and raffled in 2008 to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust is up for grabs again. And it could be yours!
For the past ten years the Magic Bus has been touring around the UK and appearing at classic car shows and raising much needed funds for for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Now you will have the opportunity to purchase The Who’s Magic Bus. A large donation from the sale of the bus will be made to Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Magic Bus is fully kitted out inside with beautiful red, white and blue upholstery and a fold-down double bed and plenty of storage space. The two sun visors in the cab have been personally signed by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, while The Who’s art director and designer of the Magic Bus, Richard Evans has also signed the interior.
The Magic Bus will go under the hammer at Silverstone Auctions on Saturday 27 August 2022 at 10.30am BST.
