The Who Hits Back! Tour: The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, The Woodlands, TX, May 8, 2022

“The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas” . . . so sang Perry Como and a great host of people – and the stars are certainly shining bright this week as Pete and Roger and The Who touring band and crew travel across the state. And tonight, Sunday night we’re deep in the heart of The Woodlands, close to the fine city of Houston (shouldn’t that be Whouston?), appearing at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. We’ve played here before, back in August 2000 and it’s great to be back.

Los Lonely Boys were our special guests tonight. Here are some photos from rehearsals and the show plus a couple of videos from some fans in the front row plus, of course, that all-important set list.

Emily Marshall, our new member of the touring band, runs the orchestra through some of the set for tonight’s show

Katie Jacoby, sporting a Texas Chain Saw Massacre t-shirt and mask, takes her seat

And it’s showtime! Keith Levenson conducts and Pete, Roger, Simon, Jon, Zak and Loren and orchestra strike up with ‘Who Are You’

Pete wasn’t quite ready and so we start again and it sounded great
