I’m so sorry to learn of the passing of these two good friends.
In Montreal on tuesday, Roger had a thought for Chris just before you started Tea and Theater at the end of the show and I wish things had turned out differently for him.
I can hardly imagine how difficult this time must be for both of you and hope all the love your fans have been showing you and will continue to show you throughout the current tour and beyond, as well as the love and support of your family and many other friends will bring you some solace.
From what little I know of Chris and Mike, they both led wonderful lives and would probably want for you to continue and do the same, touching as many lives in a positive way as you can.
I will leave you with a few words of wisdom from another great who passed several years ago.
I am so very sorry to hear about this. I have just yesterday finished reading Pete’s autobiography and now feel as if I know them both. Horrible. My sympathies to their loved ones wherever they are in the world.
My sincere condolences to Pete and Roger, knowing what good friends Chris and Mike were to them for so many years. But now they’re raising hell with John and Keith. Play your hearts out in Detroit tonight.
