Thank you for preforming! Your support was greatly appreciated! Whatever happened to the 12/12/12 concert money for the Hurricane Sandy victims? I was fortunate and did not have damage but several of my friends did. They have not seen any money or support from this fund raiser or any of the many others. Who’s profiting from these things? The only people I see helping are the people on the street or individuals from outside NY that give directly to people. If there is a site or something the people that need help need to subscribe to or join? If so somebody needs to tell them. I haven’t got a response from any news publications either so if you can please enlighten me and or those affected by Sandy that would be nice. Any response is greatly appreciated.
Very sad to read about the lack of help. There have been times in the past that “promoters have absconded” with relief funds from “The Who” concerts. Even when confronted about such action promoters often claim the “relief was achieved” by bringing in more tourism; thus small business are helped etc. etc. etc.
Performers are not at fault for the lack of direct assistance. It is a blessing they do such a good job as the musicians and entertainers they are.
It may be time to place strict government oversight regulations on the promoters? Even jail time for “promotional fraud” might be the answer. Sadly such action will not help you right away.
Providing readers of this with a way to make direct meaningful help may bring in some quick relief. Please consider making such posting to obtain some real help.

I was blown away by The Who’s performance for the Sandy Relief Concert!
I haven’t felt so alive for awhile and it was such a gift.
Thank you Pete & Roger for your magical talent.
Best wishes,
