“THE WHO” completely eclipsed everyone else in the Sandy 12-12-12 benefit. Stole the show!! Fabulous. I was blown away by their energy and talent after all these years!((Although the news media seemed ignorantly quiet; apparently none of these people today have any recent musicians of The Who’s caliber to compare them to.))
I worked at the original CREEM Magazine in the early ’70′s so I am a bit of a reputable R&R critic. I saw them live in Detroit at the old Grande Ballroom in March ’68, and again live around 1973. “Rock on,Gentlemen,Rock on.
