The Adoration Trilogy is unveiled

On Monday evening, November 13, 2017, 600 people gathered in the Raphael Gallery of the Victoria & Albert Museum in west London for the unveiling of The Adoration Trilogy: In Search of Apollo, a mammoth work of art by renowned British photographer Alistair Morrison in collaboration with Roger Daltrey, who teamed up to create an incredible mixed media artwork that involves over 60 legendary men of rock music.

The complete triptych includes over forty individual panels featuring the elite of rock music in a strange fictitious setting of dark archways and dimly lit tunnels. Photographer Alistair Morrison photographed each musician in turn in various studios, settings, houses and private homes both here and in America and then painstakingly created the finished artwork, bringing everyone together into the dimly-lit setting by use of digital technology and hours and hours piecing together the many individual images to create this masterpiece. The whole project is to benefit both Teen Cancer America and the Teenage Cancer Trust, two charities close to the hearts of both Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend.
